How are assignments costed?
As each photoshoot requires individual risk assessment and planning, it is difficult to provide a "one-size-fits-all" pricing strategy. As a rough guide only, a typical price for a residential site would be $450 ex GST.. However as I strive to deliver a top quality outcome to every client, I will ensure that the cost of any assignment is reasonable, and has been negotiated with the client beforehand. Surprises are best reserved for children's parties!
I can offer a day rate which is substantially less than the sum of the hourly costs, and modest travel fees (and any accommodation costs if necessary) where the site involves substantial travel.
I include basic minor image adjustments such as colour correction and general tidying up of the image. However, I also have the software and skills to substantially enhance images if required (within certain limits regarding items being displayed for sale), and am happy to discuss the possibilities of this optional extra cost service.
Enlargements can be provided at set prices, while custom framing can also be arranged to client specification.
All prices quoted are ex-GST.
